We are looking for volunteers to help maintain hiking trails through the White Bear Forest Conservation Reserve. Veteran trail guide Ed MacPherson will be leading this exciting event. If you can spare a day or more between May 27th and 31st, please drop us a line and we’ll get you the details. This is part of an ongoing effort to restore and promote hiking trails through the old-growth forests at Temagami Island and the White Bear Forest.
The Old-Growth Trails Partnership consists of the Temagami Community Foundation, Temagami First Nation, Temagami Lakes Association, Nastawgan Trails, Temagami Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality of Temagami, and the Friends of Temagami.
